Earlier today, Flagler County Sheriff’s office announced the arrest of two individuals who were allegedly in possession of and trafficking methamphetamines and fentanyl. The arrest took place last Friday. Below is an official statement published by FCSO:

“On Friday afternoon, Sergeant Weaver conducted a traffic stop on a silver sedan on Moody Blvd for speeding and failing to use a turn signal. The driver was identified as Keira Witkowski, 22, and the passenger as Kyle Hackney, 23.

While Sgt. Weaver spoke with the occupants, K9 Axle gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle. A subsequent search found multiple baggies of narcotics, two glass pipes, a red straw, and a digital scale hidden in a compartment inside the sedan. After searching Witkowski’s and Hackney’s persons, deputies located a total of 22.8 grams of methamphetamines, 34.6 grams of fentanyl, and 1.2 grams of marijuana.

Witkowski and Hackney were both arrested and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility (SPHIDF). Witkowski was arrested for Trafficking in Methamphetamines, Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and is being held on $551,000 bond. Hackney is facing charges of Possession of Marijuana (less than 20g), Trafficking in Methamphetamines, two counts of Trafficking in Fentanyl, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and is being held on $851,000 bond.”
