Orlando Police Arrest Man Who Stole Drugs from CVS Pharmacy

A man who admitted to stealing drugs from an Orlando pharmacy may have regretted a few of his methods after he was arrested. Orlando Police Department said Thomas Mues entered CVS in the 4300 block of Curry Ford Rd last Friday night and showed pharmacy staff a note detailing drugs that he wanted them to hand over, and a threat to shoot the ‘closest person to him’ if they didn’t comply.

According to OPD, officers arrived on the scene as the suspect, identified as Mues was walking out of the store, then proceeded to chase and apprehend Mues while he was was still holding the stolen narcotics and his written note.

Mues then admitted to traveling to Orlando from Jacksonville to carry out the plan and also confessed to another similar robbery in Central Florida. Mues now faces several Robbery, Trafficking and Possession charges.
