Toddler, 2 Adults Shot to Death During Sale of Dog in Jacksonville

Suspects Fled the Scene

Four people were shot in Jacksonville, including three who died from their injuries, after an altercation that apparently started during the private sale of a dog at an apartment complex in the 8800 block of A.S. Skinner Parkway. The victim’s names have not been released, and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, nor have the victim’s hometown. One of the five people who travelled with the group of the four victims wasn’t shot.

“For reasons that are unknown to us at this time, a dispute ensued in a breezeway of two of the apartment buildings, resulting in four of the five individuals being shot.,” assistant JSO Chief J.D. Stronko said during a press conference. “Of the four individuals shot, three are now deceased. That includes the three-year-old child who travelled there with them. Suspet information is limited at this time, but witnesses did report that two unknown black males were observed fleeing the scene, possibly in a black sedan. Detectives from the Homicide Unit are on the scene and their interviews with victims and eyewitnesses are ongoing.”
